We travelled from Chesterfield to see SKAM play a gig. The sound is awesome. What a gem Cask Bah Rocks is! Superb selection of beers and other drinks. Pete and Shaz offered us a warm welcome. There is a great atmosphere and so much to look at with lots of music memorabilia. A great bar/venue with regular live music and open mic nights. Love it!
I discovered this little gem of a pub on visiting Loughborough for work, a lovely atmosphere, a nice selection of well kept beers all accompanied with live music in the evening and well mannered clientele. What more could you want for an evening. It such a shame the local council have made it difficult for them to carry on.
Friendly, cozy and great music, since the refit the new owners have carried on the spirit of this great little music venue in Loughborough. You can grab a good beer, take over their Spotify to play the music you like or come and get on stage during the open mic night....use it or lose it
Nice little micropub with a live music and small batch brewery focus. Sadly, I had to leave before any serious live music happened but I tried two of the beers and was impressed with both. Bartender was super friendly and knew everything that there was to know about his ales. Would love to go back, later at night, if I'm ever back in Loughborough.
We went here on the 31st January as we saw online they had live music on . What a brilliant evening we had, umpteen different singers & musicians got on stage & performed the whole night lots of people spoke to us it was so friendly! Our first visit but would definitely go back
Our first visit to the Cask Bar, we traveled from Chesterfield for the SKAM gig. We received a friendly welcome and were told it was under new management. Some great different ales along with the usual brews. It's a great little bar and intimate venue for live music. More bands are booked and it's definitely worth checking out!
Lovely cosy very friendly town centre bar. Very intimate, we were seated only a few feet away from the stage, so got brilliant view of the Counterfeit Kiss act playing during our visit. Lots of music related items on the walls, and real ales behind the bar. The owners are great and very accommodating, we will hope to have many more evenings here enjoying the company, and the live music that is regularly on offer
